How Lucky I am to have something that makes saying GoodBye so hard..
I have earned so much in New Zealand.. A lot of friendship which is worth more than a million..
Here is a small write up as a note of gratitude to each one whom I have met and shared friendship with..

Chithra Akka and Babu Anna
I met them in Malaysia Airport during my first travel to Auckland. Babu Anna was having a Tamil Book in his hand with a bookmark in it. From the very scene , anyone can easily identify that he is reading a Tamil Book and he is from Tamil Nadu.
The talented 'Me' went to him and asked 'Neenga Tamizha..' . He smiled at him , saw the book in his hand and said 'Aama nga , Tamil dhan'. Here started the very beautiful relationship with Chithra Akka and Babu Anna. After getting down in Auckland Airport , they made sure I am comfortable , guided me in every little thing , got me into a cab and gave their contact number. From that day , till the day I travelled back , our journey with these two is lovely. We loved the stay at their Amazing Home featuring the beautiful Sea View. Chithra Akka prepares amazing food and we had a lot of Catch Ups together. Babu Anna's story telling sessions are one of the most enjoyable part of all. We have admired you both as a couple and learnt a lot from you on how a 'beautiful happy home' should be.
Thank you Chithra akka and Babu anna for giving us the warmth of Family. We always felt very special and contented when we are at your place. Every time we are greeted with a lot of love and we owe a lot to you.
The beautiful fact of Love and Life which me and Vicky are taking from you both.. !
True Love is growing as a couple , learning about each other and never giving up on each other.
Surya and Usha
Surya is a very good friend of mine. We worked for the same team. When everyone were out for vacation in last year December , we both were working for 3 weeks and it was my first task at onsite. I got to learn a lot and we shared a very good friendly bonding. We have lovely memories decorating our Family friendship - The Waihake Island Trip , The Stunning TransAlpine Winter Trip , Yummy Food - Chit Chats - Night Stays , Drive In Movie Night ..
The South Island trip gave us a beautiful time to celebrate our friendship together and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the snow filled winter trip.
I am a big fan of Usha's Cuisines , everytime we visit their place I get my most loved dishes on my plate. Surya is a very supportive friend and a listening ear to all my happenings. The best thing is he became my husband's good friend even before Vicky travelled to New Zealand. They shared a comfortable bond which made our time together the most loved and memorable ones. You both know how much I value your friendship and I am sure we are going to be in touch for the lifetime.
A very big lesson for life which I am taking from you both back with me is this and a friendship for lifetime..
The simplest way to stay happy is letting go off the things that make you sad..!
Priya
Well , where to start and where to end.. We have almost shared most of our time together here in Auckland. I met this girl back in Chennai Infosys when we had to discuss something about New Zealand Visa statuses. I got a good connection with her and I had a feeling of my little sister. We shared the same apartment ever since we moved in here.
From the food , Chat Times , Biriyanis , Movie Times and all the beautiful moments that we have shared together , there are lots of good memories to take with me.
She has taught me lots of things that has really made me shape me as a person and one big thing that I am taking with me from her is If you are going to talk behind someone's back , gossip about how GREAT they are..
And then this..

Pravanjan
He is like my little brother and he has been so supportive from the beginning. We have had very very good times together and we have made lots of memories. Vicky and Pravanjan are a comfortable duo. I can comfortably ask for anything to you and I know you will always be there to help out. Could we ever forget the movie times , dinner times , lockdown times , trips , photo sessions, the times that we have spent with you is endless...
I have this very special gift - your 'Friendship' and as a 24/7 reminder of this friendship I will have the gorgeous watch that you had gifted me safely 😛
You are so special to me Prav and I wholeheartedly wish you are blessed with all that you want in life..
Because I have a brother , I always have a friend..
Shruthi and Rajiv
Well this lady has been my full time buddy to talk and discuss all that we want to. I have always admired her commitment to family and her commitment to love. I have always wondered how a person can be so organised by seeing her. I am so happy that I had got this opportunity to be her friend and travel hand in hand with her last one year.
She is a perfect person and I had tried my level best to cope up with her perfection.
Shruthi , I wish and love to see you fly high with all that you desire and you know what , I will be there as a well wisher and I am just a call away for you. I would wish to hear every small happening that takes place in your life and please bomb my whatsapp with all the lovely pics you take.
Rajiv - Bubbly person and he is such an interesting story teller. Me and Vicky use to talk about the story that he narrated for the next two days. He is so humble that he gives me 'Great Comments' after eating my food. Cooking for him made me so excited just for the reactions that he would give after taking the first bite.
"Commitment is an act , not a word" - Shruthi , I dedicate this to you and I will try to take an essence from it..!
Balaji and Jeena
Few people will become close to heart during the first meet itself. They are one such awesome couple. They can travel any extra miles for friends and friendship. No doubt that it is because of their wonderful nature they are surrounded with many good people. We met Balaji and Jeena through Babu anna. We had a memorable number of catch ups and get together thereafter. It always feels so lively and happy when they both are around. I love the way Jeena carries herself and she is stunning. I always wonder how they can be so warm and graceful at all occasions. I thoroughly enjoy every moment when you guys are around. Yummy food and amazing friendships. We are definitely going to miss this wonderful times together with you.
Friendship is the golden thread that ties the heart of all the world.. they both are living example for this.. !

Arumugam and Priya
Our Neighbors in apartments. We came to this apartments in March and Lakshen was just born then. His grandma was having him in the balcony and Vicky started a conversation with her knowing that she is from Tamil Nadu. Then started the friendly relationship with this family . We were treated with traditional food from their parents and it felt so good to have someone from our own place at neighborhood. We started exchanging food and friendship from thereon. Lakshen's smile when he sees me gives me so much pleasure and I take every available opportunity to meet and play with him. Every now and then there will be a knock in our door and Arumugam will be standing there holding some yummy dishes.
They are one wonderful couple and they have friends all over Auckland which they have earned out of their love and friendship. They are ready to travel any extra mile just for the sake of friendship. I have admired this quality in them a lot.

Nilanjan

Nilanjan is my client lead.. 'The Captain Cool'..
It is definitely hard to find such a humble and down to earth person like Nil. It is a big learning curve for me here with Spark and this person owes most of it. The way he handles work with ease is amazing. Even when 100 things are running around at work , when we call out for his help , he comes with a fresh voice and a fresh mind to help us troubleshoot. He has the skill of making the workplace a pressure free environment which gives the space to think , decide , act and achieve 😊 A good friend and a good captain , wishing him the best in all the endeavours.
The ability to remain balanced - is what I like in him

Gaurav
He is the person who was co ordinating when I was at offshore. When I reached Auckland Office for the first day , it was his bubbly face and a warm greeting which gave me a confidence to start a new journey at work. A very good team player and always keeps his buddies lively up and running. He has his own way of explaining details at work and thats his speciality as well.
The morning chit chat sessions and the productive lunch breaks will be one of my most cherishable times here. I am going to miss all our story sessions Gaurav. It feels so good to see his lovely gesture when he tastes the home cooked meal.
GP , With the beautiful , calm and composed mindset that you possess - you deserve to reach bigger heights.

He is a calm and composed person and accepts anything that comes in his way with a carefree heart. I adore the way he handles both his personal and professional life. Your simplicity and elegance will definitely guide you to greater heights. Good are the times where we chit chat during our morning and lunch times.

Prakash is my friend at work , Developer Friend.. ! Its always nice to see his gentle nature and his humility at work. He never miss to say a 'hi' when he crosses my desk everytime. I feel so good for having known you. Your humility is your strength and definitely there is a lot of good things that are going to adore your way just for the person you are.
Of all the home remedies , a good wife is best.. Varsha's cuteness and yummy food needs a special mention. She is a pro at preparing delicious food and appetizing presentation. She never hesitates to prepare food to our entire gang.Varsha is a cute and bubbly wife who makes her home the best place and celebrates every little happiness..!
I wish that the Love and Romance in your relationship grow deeper and deeper in the following years to come. And loads of Love and Blessings to Samu baby..!
Subbu
My colleague from Chennai Office. He met me 5 minutes after I landed in Auckland. He made sure that I am comfortable and took me through the main streets showing me everything that I would need from the rules, grocery stores, area, office , commute details , almost everything that a person would need on the first day when one lands in a foreign land. After a long travel in flight and a mixed feeling inside, I felt so heavenly when he and his roommates gave me a yummy plate of food with spicy potatoes with rice and greens.
Such a hard working and a gentle person who has not changed even a bit from the day I have seen him. He is a composed person and is contented with his own happenings around. He never forgets to check on me if everything is going on right or any help is required from his end. Till the last day before travel , he has texted me to ask if I am free for a walk or if I need some helping hand for relaxing around the city .
Blessed I am to have these helping hands around..

Indhu was at onsite already before I travelled to Auckland and I got her contact from one of my old project leads. She had assured me an accommodation here before I landed. Thank You Indhu , for giving me a place to stay at your home and in your heart and giving me the privilege of being your well wisher. You know very well that I will always be there for anything around both personal and professional life .
She is a hardworking and a family bonded person who thinks and works hard for her family.
I would never forget the covid times and the hardship you went through leaving your husband back in India and Hope you are having the best times in life now.

She is my roommate during my initial days at Auckland. She has shown me all that a starter at Auckland would need to know. I am always grateful to her friendship and care. I whole heartedly wish her all the happiness in life.

They are the people whom I have shared my house with during my initial days in Auckland. Thank you all for being such good housemates. I love - Vasudha's round-round parathas and the way she keeps her surrounding clean. A very sorted and organised person and i was replacing her place in the flat as she was leaving back to India. Though there were very few days with her , it was good cherishable times together.

Asmitha's sweet and bubbly nature is a big big plus. The mild tingling laughter that comes from her after every conversation makes the house feel bright. Will I ever forget the soya chunks dish that she made for us.. An unforgettable dish.. and the way she cooked the cabbage for all of us with lots of love can never be forgotten. I thoroughly admired your singing performances and the practice sessions back in home.

I like the way Deepika engages her things in her own ways. The small black cooker and the veg kichadi you make can never be forgotten.

A bubbly couple who creates happiness out of every little moment. Though we had a very few occasions to catch up and get along , those were completely fun filled and memorable. If we would spend 3 hours together , we end up talking 2 hour 58 minutes and there is still no enough time to complete the stories and talks. It felt so good for having hosted you at our home. We are happy that we will be a part of every road journey of yours as we were there as a part during the selection process of your 'Red Riding Hoodie' ..

Bold and Beautiful lady. I admire the way she carries herself , she is stunning. First day when I met her , I had joined diwali dance in 2019 but I dint know many people then as ut was my first week at onsite. She made me feel comfortable at the first sight only and she taught me the dance step by step - this might seem silly to read but it means a lot to me. We have been good buddies thereafter. Discussions about trips with her is always very exciting. Since last year I wanted her and shruthi to do a combined dance and this wish is fulfilled now, I was very happy to see their extraordinary performance.

Parul - her bubbly dance moves and the unforgettable party at Indhu's farewell , good to be in touch with you after you moved to India as well..

Yummy food, awesome location , lovely friends..! I am going to miss all the fun and lovely times when we are with you guys.
