                   My Favourite Yellow Skirt and my Labour Pain That night was not as easy as expected. I got my labour pain at 10.30 at night but it was not so intense. It occurred at a frequency of every 5 mins and I was sure this was the start of labour. I dint want to go to the hospital as it would be too early and the doctor would not wait too long as well.  I would say the complete journey of the labour was shared equally(to be frank more than 50%) by my husband.  Dec 5 2017: As I was in pain for every 5 mins, there were soothing words and a gentle massage from my husband throughout the night. He also made sure that the pain is not very intense and asked me each time if we need to start to the hospital. There were also other signs of labour nearing and I was preparing myself mentally for the wonderful experience. My dear husband Vicky , my good friend Surya and his wife Usha..  The Turqoise Blue Track - Day 2's MidDay: A refreshing selfie Hokitikka Gorge - The famous blue waters contrasting with the green forests. It is a 30 minute detour walk which starts from the car park. The path is well defined and gravelled and suited for a rainy day as well , although it is obviously better when the sun is out. Hokitikka Gorge Trail As we walk along a forested track , we reach a small viewing platform where we’ll see the gorge in all its wonder. The view of the Gorge , the swing bridge and the Greens from the first view point The milky blue colour of the river flowing down this gorge is amazing. The colour comes from glacial ice water melt mixed with the milkiness of the silt that has been ground down from the rock faces/bed around and under the moving glacier.
